The summer may feel like it is still in full swing, but it is sadly coming to an end within the next month. The good news is that we live in beautiful, sunny Albuquerque and it will most likely feel like summer until mid-October! So we thought it would be great to round up all the cool things that Burqueños should check out before #PSL season starts!

Who doesn’t love Mac n’ Cheese?! The classic favorite gets remixed by over 30 vendors for this once-a-year festival that combines food, wine, beer, live music and friends! Taste the interesting combinations that vendors will come up as you enjoy variations of Craft Macaroni and Cheese (haha, get it?) The 21+ event will take place on August 9th at the ABQ Balloon Fiesta Park. For more information or to buy tickets, be sure to visit the event website.

ABQ Summerfest takes over the Civic Plaza! Local vendors, artists, musicians and more will gather in the heart of downtown to celebrate all things summer in ‘Burque! This free event is a staple in ABQ culture and will feature activities for the whole family, including your pets! Be sure to stop by the beer garden for a variety of NM brews! For more information and a list of performances and scheduled activities, check out the City of Albuquerque website.

Oh, “hoppy” day! The annual Hopfest will feature over 70 breweries in a one-stop location for beer lovers to taste as many different samples as they would like. Yep, you heard right…unlimited beer tasting from 2pm-6pm at Isleta Resort & Casino. The event is “hoppening” (sorry, I had to) on August 26th, 21+

“The Rail Yards Market” @ The Yards

Although The Rail Yards market is an ongoing event, we thought it was worth mentioning since the market does have a variety of events every Sunday until October. The market features art, food, produce and more, making it the perfect way to spend your Sunday mornings. We recommend biking to the market, as parking can get a little tricky…plus, it’s better for the environment. For a list of scheduled events and vendors, check out The Rail Yards website.
